Wednesday 17th June was our second meeting using Zoom, despite a few technical issues, it was a constructive meeting
The meeting included:
PowerPoint presentation on William Henry Downing who was killed in action during WW1. It showed how putting together the different sources available presented a more rounded picture of the man and life at that time.
Discussion of the different subscriptions available for family history sites
Discussion on specific members problems and possible approaches
Discussion on use of group’s website and Zoom
